Coaching Staff: We are very proud to announce our coaching staff for Villages Youth Lacrosse. We put our full trust and confidence in this group to help develop, mentor, and push your sons in both lacrosse and life. Each coach has proven that they are dedicated to growing the game and our program in a positive manner. Their desire to be excellent coaches and mentors has been proven time and time again with their leadership, sacrifice and hearts.
U14:
- Matt Ramsey: Raised in Northeast Philadelphia, he attended Wingate University where he was a 2x All-Deep South Conference player and a team captain. Matt has spent many years coaching at various levels including collegiate at his alma mater, various youth programs throughout NC and MD, and in the United Kingdom. Matt’s experience, knowledge of the game and dedication is a large reason why our program will continue to be successful.
- Lincoln Adams: Lincoln devotes much of his free time to coaching, he has been a middle school tackle football head coach, lacrosse coach and flag football coach. His previous lacrosse coaching experience includes Nease High School, PAL, Ohana Lacrosse. His intensity and attention to detail will help our boys be ready for the next level.
U12:
- Joe Coughlin: Raised in Bashore, Long Island, he was a 4x starter at New York Maritime College. A 2x captain and MVP, He ranks among the top 10 in school history for goals, assist, and points for a single season. Joe has been coaching for many years in various programs, most recently are very own Ohana Lacrosse Club. Joe’s love for the game, our players and our program is always well represented.
- Andrew Biscardi: Raised in Freeport, New York, he played at NCC located in Long Island. After a few years of coaching youth lacrosse in Long Island, to our pleasure, he relocated to FL and has coachedmany of our Ohana teams. Andrew’s positive attitude and eagerness to develop the youth will be on display day in and day out.
U8/U10:
- DJ Romanchuk: Raised in Virginia, he played at both Penn State and Florida State. A coach with an abundance of experience at the High School and youth levels. DJ has coached a variety of club programs located in Florida, from national levels to most recently our Ohana program last summer, he has seen it all. DJ’s calm demeanor and relationship to the kids and the game allows him to connect with our players on a high level.
- Dave Azotea: Raised in New Jersey, played football and club lacrosse at Ursinus College. Dave began coaching youth lacrosse in New Jersey as well as serving as the President of lacrosse for the organization. Most recently Dave has helped coach our Ohana program. The relationships Dave has formed and his attitude towards our club will prove dividends in our development of our players.
- Tim Moltisanti: From Long Island, he played at both UMBC and Dowling College. In his time in college Tim earned Second Team All-American honors and was a 2x captain. Tim, most recently, the owner of Ohana Lacrosse, joins us with a ton of relationships and knowledge about our program. We will lean on Tim to help direct our program and instill his knowledge of the game at all levels.
Director.
- Cameron Mann: Raised in Hamilton, Ontario, he played at Jacksonville University. A 4x captain at JU, Cameron continued his career in the professional ranks in both field and box leagues. After coachingfor a few years at both the high school and college levels, Cameron went home to coach at the Hill Academy north of the border. Currently an assistant coach at Nease High School, Cameron is excited to take over as the Director of Villages and help grow it to one of the perennial programs in all of Florida.
We will have many other guest coaches joining us throughout the year; from high school and college players, college coaches and specialty groups coaches (goalies, faceoffs, etc) we will look to add positive additions to practices as the season goes on.
